We have been to New York City almost a hundred times, but this time we took some pictures.
Featured were the World Trade Center reconstruction site, the Statue of Liberty
and Ellis Island.

The lobby of the Empire State Building. One of the tallest buildings in New York, it derives its name from the state nickname, "Empire State".

Entryway to the New York City Public Library. The popular television show "Between the Lions" refers to the large lions that guard the doorway to this library building.

Approaching the Statue of Liberty by Boat   The Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in the Hudson River, between the US states of New York and New Jersey. This statue is the larger version of the model in France (link here) and the small replica in Las Vegas (link here).

These are the full-sized models (molds) that were used when the Statue of Liberty was repaired in the 1970s. Standing next to the foot and my niece Shira and wife Naimah.
